Elka Rhapsody Song List
From SynthTrax
Date: 1975
Type: Analogue / String Synthesizer / Full Polyphony
Introduction
The Rhapsody came in two different versions - the 490 (49 keys) and the 610 (61 keys). It features full polyphony, being a divide-down string synthesizer with limited sound editing capability. This didn't limit it's use as a great sounding string synth.
Notable Users
Billy Currie (Ultravox) - The Rhapsody was used on the classic Ultravox song, 'Vienna' in one of the most famous middle-8's of all time.
