Oli Freke started this Wiki to collect all the best examples of synth work in songs and other musical works. Cos he's a bit of a synth nerd.

Previously Oli has published a book featuring illustrations and facts about every synthesizer made between 1966 and 1995:

Oli's music (featuring synths!) has been used for TV Channel idents and adverts; additionally his band, Cassette Electrik, supported the Human League on their Dare 30th Anniversary tour (2009); he studied Brazilian drumming for a decade, did live hard-house PAs in clubs 'back in the day', and is currently enjoying writing and playing live techno:
